Totally agree. That is what the book "How I Sold 1 Million eBooks in 5 Months" by John Locke is about. It is very informative with lots of "how to's" in it.

Enjoyed this cartoon. It is true, no matter how you publish, you always have to market yourself. Afterall, no one wants more sales than you. It's your book, your baby, and you know it's greatest potential. Happy writing, happy marketing.

This is amazing. It totally knocked the wits! Being a self-published author basically has to take control of everything. From writing, planning, to implementing marketing strategies--everything must be covered.
