<p>A writer/editor contractor, whom I often work with often, sent me this comic from <a href="http://www.newyorker.com" target="_blank">The New Yorker magazine</a>. The reality is, whether you self-publish, or publish through a Vanity publisher or traditional publisher, you will have to <a href="http://www.aliciadunams.com/blog/10-tips-to-get-free-publicity-blog-with-audio/">market your own book</a>. Period! Actually, traditional publishers are only interested in authors (specifically non-fiction authors) who already have a built-in audience, a following, prospects, basically a list of people who are interested in your message.</p>
