What one thing will you do today to write your book, market your business, or make more money?

It seems I upset a few people last week when I asked people to
unsubscribe for being “unserious” about writing a book.

I’m sorry.

But, I am also glad I said it.

Let me explain.

I got three angry emails from subscribers, and I ended up having
wonderful long conversations with all three. I got to learn about them
and their businesses. They were all happy I reached out to them.
I feel really good about this.

Truth be told, I want you to succeed and to succeed ridiculously.

Yet, to succeed you need to act.

I wanted to provoke some sort of action,
even if it meant questioning your
committment to writing a book.

Action requires getting out of you comfort zone and
MAKING THINGS HAPPEN.

So, with all that said – what one thing are you going to accomplish today to write your book,
market your business, or make more money? – AD

Today, I wrote a draft letter which I am going to send to about 75 leads that were passed to me from a referral partner. Once approved by my business coach and mastermind team, I will send out and schedule conversations with those interested. I've also blogged and written articles, and I will be following up with hot prospects.

Comfort zone? What is the definition of a “comfort zone?” I suppose the zone is different for every person and they choose to stay there for individual reasons. ..afraid to step out. For some, it might be denial of an emotional fact; or fear of self exposure or possibly ridicule from peers. As for myself, I long for a comfort zone, even temporarily, as I, like many women, am in the heat of the daily battle of making things happen on an hourly basis, keeping pace and sometimes ahead, of the future. I am the juggler.

Debra, like you, I seek the safety of the “comfort zone”. I mean, it's a big, wild world out there, and sometimes it's nice to kick back with family, have some comfort food (pasta is my favorite), and feel safe. But, when it comes to achieving goals, following dreams, making things happen, you won't often find those in your comfort zone. I think we need a little bit of both to stay sane! I know I do!
